Gulfstream’s focus is on opportunistic private debt and equity transactions, and its subsidiaries have deployed in excess of $400m of equity across 75+ investments throughout the United States. Gulfstream has a diverse asset base of passive and active investments focused in healthcare.

Dr. Adwan has extensive experience in molecular diagnostics, laboratory quality management, clinical education, and overall laboratory operations. He graduated with honors from Misericordia University with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry and received his Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Stem Cells and Development from the University of Colorado where he also did his postdoctoral fellowship. While a graduate student and postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Adwan received numerous grants and awards including the National Research Service Award from the National Institute of Health. Dr. Adwan is the author of a number high-impact, peer reviewed publications and is actively engaged with various working groups and scientific advisory committees dedicated to the highest standards in laboratory services. He has been invited to present his work at various scientific meetings including the conference for the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology.

André oversees all administrative and business support functions, including I.T., finance, and human resources. With over twenty years of professional experience, André started his career in human resources, and his roles have varied from generalist and manager, to senior director, VP, and chief human resource officer. He has successfully supported and worked in all focal areas of H.R., including employee relations, recruiting, benefits and compensation, organization, training, and development both domestically and internationally. His experience is comprised of a variety of industries including hospitality, business process outsourcing, education, and mainly healthcare, where he has spent the last 10 years. André earned his undergraduate degree in political science/secondary education from Virginia Commonwealth University and then pursued his MBA concentrating in human resources management. He has held various H.R. designations over the years, including PHR, GPHR, and SPHR. He has also been acknowledged as a Cambridge who’s who in business.

Dr. Sundin graduated from Old Dominion University where she completed her B.S. in Biology, Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, and Postdoctoral Fellowship. She has over 10 years of laboratory experience in cancer biology and clinical molecular diagnostics and is an active member of the Association of Molecular Pathology (AMP). She is widely published and speaks at various symposiums about multidisciplinary facilitation of biomarker testing in cancer patients on behalf of AstraZeneca and Bristol-Myers Squibb. She’s involved with numerous efforts to support the molecular diagnostics field in collaboration with American Medical Technologists (AMT) and the Clinical & Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI).

Throughout his career, Michael has been responsible for financial reporting to executive leadership teams and board members, budgeting and forecasting, treasury management, and playing key roles in M&A and capital raising initiatives.
