The Gold Standard for RT-PCR Covid-19 Testing
GENE-IQ is a CLIA certified high-complexity molecular diagnostic testing laboratory, which now provides rRT-PCR (real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction) testing for Covid-19. We adhere to the highest standards in molecular testing, ensuring timely, actionable and accurate delivery of test results.
The GENE-IQ testing methodology combines automation and artificial intelligence to achieve industry leading throughput and accuracy. We employ a non-invasive, nasal-swab collection methodology that can be self-administered, therefore mitigating the need for personal protection equipment (PPE) that is often in short supply.
Our “Covid Clear” testing program is designed to enable speedy, accurate analysis for large employee or resident populations. It meets the needs of long-term care facilities or physician practices needing to test large groups of individuals quickly, and it drastically reduces the chances of an infection for employees, residents, physicians, staff and patients. The combination of RT-PCR testing, social distancing, and good-worker hygiene is the protocol being most effectively employed today.
GENE-IQ serves both consumers and enterprises but primarily focuses on assisted living facilities, long-term care communities, hospital and surgical centers, medical practices, and corporations needing to maintain safe workplace environments.

What will my test results tell me?
Your test results will confirm whether or not you are infected with SARS-CoV-2. If your results are positive, it is important to limit your exposure to other people and to continue to monitor your symptoms. If your results are negative, the virus was not present in the sample you provided. However, it is important to note that the virus may not be detected if the sample was not collected as directed. If you have reason to believe you have been exposed, it is important to follow up with a healthcare provider for further evaluation or to get re-tested.
After receiving your results, your physician of record can answer any questions you may have and help determine the next steps of care.
How is COVID-19 Treated
There is currently no treatment for COVID-19. For severe cases, hospitalization and respiratory support may be required. Mild cases are treated by managing symptoms with over-the-counter medicines for fever such as acetaminophen (Tylenol), plenty of fluids, and rest.
